Welcome to the Jr Chargers Wrestling Team Web Site. We are located in Indian Head, Maryland and we hold our practices at Henry E. Lackey High School at 3000 Chicamuxen Road Indian Head, MD 20640.
Starting in mid-November, wrestling practice sessions are held on Tuesday, Thurday and Friday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. weekly and run throughout the duration of the wrestling season. The season begins at the start of the Winter Sports Season for Charles County Schools and wraps up around mid to late March. Actual matches begin in January, are held on Saturdays and are hosted at various school locations around Charles, Calvert and Prince George's Counties. There is a mid-season Dual Meet Tournament and season-ending SMJWL Championship Tournament.
Our team is sanctioned by both the Southern Maryland Youth Wrestling League (SMJWL) and USA Wrestling. The facilities and each wrestler are fully insured through USA Wrestling.
